Maintenance of "The Beard"

Treat your beard with the respect it deserves. Check out these tips for maintaining healthy and full facial hair
1. Eat right. There aren’t specific foods that will cause your beard to sprout out but eating a balanced diet generally promotes healthy hair and skin. Take a multivitamin or biotin if consuming fruits and vegetables feels too wimpy.
2. Wash it. Yes, your beard counts as hair, so clean it regularly with shampoo, not bar soap which can be drying. Otherwise, you might find hunks of that steak you had for dinner two weeks ago lurking in your whiskers. Wash your beard a few times a week and use a moisturizing shampoo or you’ll have a brittle, beast-like beard.
3. Dry carefully. After you wash your beard, dry it delicately. If you dry too forcefully you’ll end up with split-ends and a lackluster beard. Instead, be patient and pat it dry.
4. Apply oil. Shampooing removes natural oils from your facial hair. GIBS BEARD OIL is an awesome product and smells great too
5. Use the right tools. If you plan on keeping your beard long and strong, make sure to use the right grooming gear. You wouldn’t use a hammer to chop firewood, so purchase a beard trimmer and some sharp scissors for shaping
